JOB DESCRIPTION – FRONT DESK FITNESS ATTENDANT
Reports to: Fitness Manager
Position Type: Part-Time (15-25 hours/week)
Stone Tree Fitness Club is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and people-centered Front Desk Fitness Attendant to join our team. This is not just a “front desk” role. This position plays a key role in:
- Client experience
- Membership sales
- Community building
- Club operations
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is comfortable initiating conversations, discussing membership options, and confidently recommending services based on client needs.
Key Responsibilities – Customer Service, Sales & Club Operations
- Welcome and check in all members and guests
- Open and close the club
- Answer phone inquiries and assist walk-ins
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the club
- Conduct Club tours and Orientation Sessions for new and prospective members
- Confidently educate & sell memberships, class passes, programs, events, and services
- Work with the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets
- Manage and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Support social media by contributing to content creation and Facebook group
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Comfortable initiating sales conversations
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Tech-comfortable
- Reliable and punctual
- Available evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift & move fitness equipment
- Comfortable performing cleaning duties
Preferred:
- Background in fitness or wellness
- Sales experience
- Customer service experience
- Canva or social media experience
